Our collection for December will be for Threads, Hope & Love. Threads, Hope & Love is a non-profit organization in Washington that helps provide for those in need.
Threads is asking for assistance for their gift program for the children of low income families. If you can help with gift cards, it would be a blessing to the children (and their families) for Christmas. Thank all of you for your support of Threads.
Suggested amount is $15-$25 - please write the amount on the gift card. Some ideas for where include - Walmart, Amazon, Target, Roblox, Torrid, Hot Topic, Lane Bryant, Ulta, Bath & Body Works, local fast food restaurants, and anywhere tweens/teens may like to hang out.

All are invited even if you don't currently attend Sunday School. There will be speaking parts and non speaking parts.

SUN JAN 05: YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL
6th through 12th graders are invited to join us for Sunday School each week at 9am in the youth space. A typical week will kick off with a fun game or ice breaker, followed by a large group lesson, and then small group discussion.
Our new series is Trending Now, Christian Takes on Today's Headlines. What is the conflict between Israel and Palestine and is there a correct "Christian" response to the conflict? What's up with the new law in Louisiana about the Ten Commandments? Is that a win for Christians or possibly something else?

BRANCHES
OF WASHINGTON
The Bridge UMC is proud to partner with several local churches to form Branches of Washington. Our mission is to help the children and youth of our community arrive at school each day ready to learn.
Our primary means of accomplishing this will be through hosting monthly Care Closets. Students who receive free or reduced lunch will be given the opportunity to "shop" for free clothing and personal care products. Branches will also be providing breakfast and snack items for schools to distribute to those in need.
We are thrilled to kick off this new school year by offering Care Closets in all D50, D51, and D52 schools that weren't already being served in this way! This is a huge undertaking and we need your help!
